Job summary

Centurion is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) to join our team at Coastal State Prison located in Port Wentworth, Georgia. Pay rate is $21.00 per hour for a Per Diem position.

The CNA works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care for incarcerated individuals, including assisting with personal hygiene and daily living activities and monitoring vital signs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification required.
• One year of experience in long term or skilled care, residential care, physician practice or correctional setting preferred.
• Must show/obtain current PPD tuberculosis screening documentation.
• Must be CPR and AED certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, daily living needs and monitor vital signs.

We are currently seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) to join our team at Coastal State Prison located in Port Wentworth, Georgia.

The CNA works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• One (1) year of experience in long term or skilled care, residential care, physician practice or correctional setting preferred
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
