Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant to join the team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana. The CNA works under close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and routine vital sign monitoring, documenting observations and reporting changes promptly.

Qualifications

• Indiana CNA license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living needs.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to medical staff.
