Come join our team as a Part-Time Afternoon Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) at Gulf Coast Village Assisted Living. We offer a positive work environment with hourly pay up to $17.50/hr, based on experience.

The Gulf Coast Village Campus is part of Volunteers of America National Services, serving as the Housing and Healthcare subsidiary of the parent organization.

Schedule: 24 hours per pay period, working 3pm - 11pm, with a shift differential of $2.00!

Week #1 - Friday

Week #2 - Saturday & Sunday

Position Summary

The primary role of the Nursing Assistant is to provide routine daily nursing care to residents according to established procedures and under supervision. The CNA reports any changes in resident condition and performs duties delegated by licensed staff to meet residents' physical and psychosocial needs, complying with all regulations and policies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State-approved nursing assistant course completion/certification or enrollment in approved course
• Ability to perform essential functions safely
• Ability to prioritize, understand, and follow work assignments
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Proficiency with computers and electronic devices for documentation and communication

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:

• Practice according to the State Nurse Practice Act and standards
• Perform assessments and develop/follow an individualized Plan of Care
• Provide skilled interventions to achieve client outcomes
• Report changes and update care plans accordingly
• Demonstrate competency with technical nursing skills
• Conduct assessments of clients, families, and environments
• Provide education tailored to client needs
