PACE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Lexington, KY

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Our team works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary approach to deliver medical, social, and support services, either at the PACE Center or at participants' homes. About the Role:

The CNA provides personal and related care services at the PACE Center, in homes, hospitals, nursing homes, or ALFs, under supervision of registered nurses or managers. Responsibilities include:

• Participant transportation: safe, timely, door-to-door service
• Vehicle safety checks and maintenance
• Assisting passengers on and off vehicles
• Following schedules with flexibility for adjustments

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• State Registered Nurse Aide certification
• Completion of recognized CNA training
• Minimum one year experience with elderly populations
• Food handling permit (to be obtained upon hire)
• Current CPR certification
• Self-directed with minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills with adults
• Ability to read, interpret, and write routine documents
• Collaborative team player
• Effective public speaking skills
• Problem-solving ability and adaptability
• Ability to follow emergency procedures
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle in good condition and personal auto liability insurance of $100,000/$300,000
• Demonstrates tact, patience, and good hygiene
• Compliance with health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies
