Shasta Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare Services, is seeking a dedicated CNA for the Med/Surg Department. You will assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to a safe and compassionate environment.

The role requires a current CNA certificate, BLS certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months of acute care experience. Night shift, full-time status, competitive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

The CNA in the Med/Surg Department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• 2. Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• 3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• 4. Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

• The current compensation range for this role is $25.53 to $35.33.
