Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Nurse Assistant Trainee to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO. The role supports clinical education through classroom and clinical learning to become an unlicensed assistive personnel.

Training covers vitals, mobility, hygiene, and routine patient care under supervision. During the program, you will complete a competency assessment and may pursue Missouri CNA licensure within the specified timelines, with BLS required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months patient care or health-care related experience preferred.
• Missouri CNA license or completion of a program with MO license to be obtained within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, bathe, dress, and move patients as directed.
• Change linens and perform other duties under nursing supervision.
• Report patient condition changes and assist in daily care within scope of practice.
