Job summary

Wilmington Treatment Center is looking for dedicated CNAs to support daily living activities and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment in Wilmington, North Carolina.

You will take vitals, assist with admissions and intake documentation, perform rounds and transport patients, and handle administrative duties in the nursing/medical departments. We welcome newly certified CNAs and provide training on de-escalation and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA program completion.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• New CNAs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals and assist with intake documentation.
• Perform vitals and tests (glucose, UDS, hCG).
• Execute patient rounds and transport patients as requested.
• Handle administrative duties in nursing/medical departments.

Essential Functions

• Works with admitting patients by completing vitals, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation


• Complete vitals and performs various tests (i.e. glucose, UDS, HcG)


• Performs patient rounds


• Transports patients as requested


• Performs administrative duties associated with the nursing/medical departments

Other Functions

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.


• Certified Nursing Assistant program completion


• Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred.


• Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply

Licenses/Designations/Certifications

• Current NC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification


• CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).


• Current NC Drivers License
