CSA HOMECARE is currently hiring:

CNA Needed Full Time in Hampton, GA

NEED TO FILL IMMEDIATELY

Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified, compassionate, and experienced individual to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a strong background in behavioral developmental, nursing home dementia, and/or special needs, children, and adolescents preferred as well as home healthcare. The day-to-day duties of this role include assisting wheelchair-bound clients with dressing, laundry, changing lines, all ADLs, and light housekeeping.

1 Assignment in Hampton, GA

35 hours total per week

Other assignments also open for part-time hours

Hours available for each location vary according to each client

Requirements to start:

  • 1 year experience with IDD Clients
  • CNA/HHA/DSP
  • BLS/CPR/ First Aid certified (American Heart Association required)
  • Negative TB test results (Must be as current as previous 3 months)
  • GCHECKS Background check (fingerprints); Local Background check
  • MUST provide excellent service and care to our patients

Job Type: Full time schedule, weekdays

Medical specialties: IDD/Autistic, Geriatrics, Home Health

Standard shift: Mon-Fri (10am-5pm)

Experience required:

  • Caregiving: 1 year
  • IDD Autistic clients: 1 Year
  • Range Of Motion: (Preferred)

License/Certification: Valid DL, First Aid/CPR/PCA/CNA Certification (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, bowel & bladder care, dressing, and eating.
  • Assist clients with ambulation and help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
  • Plan and prepare small meals.
  • Assist client to complete shopping or accompany them successfully to do so.
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day.
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
  • Take pride in providing high-quality care.
