Unit Bio:
The Medical Intensive Care Unit provides care for patients who have undergone various critical surgical procedures, including Vascular, Gastrointestinal, Liver, Renal, Renal Pancreas Transplantation, Orthopedics, Plastics, Otolaryngology, Urology, Thoracic, Surgical Oncology, Oral Maxillo-Facial, Obstetrics, and Gynecological Surgery.
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of Registered Nurses and according to defined policies and procedures, performs service duties and technical tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living. Duties may vary by area of assignment. Consideration of the specific needs and behaviors of patient populations is required.
