Mercyhealth Freeport Hospital in Freeport, IL seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on patient care on Med-Surg during night shifts. You will take vital signs, monitor blood glucose, assist with catheters and telemetry under RN supervision, and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment.

The role requires completion of a CNA program and current state CNA certification; CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care including vital signs and glucose monitoring.

• Document care and ensure clean environment; respond to call lights promptly.
• Train and precept new partners with unit educator.
• Maintain documentation and reporting to RN; participate in performance improvement activities.

## Certified Nursing Assistant, Med-Surg - Full-time NightsApply: Onsite: Mercyhealth Freeport Hospital - Freeport, IL: Full time: Posted Today: 49080-3**OVERVIEW** Provides hands-on patient care and support, including taking vital signs, monitoring blood glucose, bladder scanning, telemetry, and assisting with catheters, drains, and other medical devices under RN supervision.
