Responsibilities

1. Assist with patient/participant care activities.
2. Assist with procedures ordered by a physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
3. Tend to personal care, activities of daily living, and transfers/transport for patients/participants.
4. Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
5. Keep patients'/participants' rooms clean and orderly.
6. Monitor the environment for safety hazards and emergency situations, and initiate corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience, and active certification as a nurse aide (CNA) in the state of Alabama.
