Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (Med/Surg 2) for a full-time, 0.90 FTE night shift. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will support basic patient care and comfort and perform related non-professional tasks on the unit.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, CNA certification, and AHA BLS before end of orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• AHA BLS certification obtained prior to end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Support patient comfort and related non-professional services on the unit.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under direction of a Registered Nurse, contributes to the basic patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Actual job tasks may vary depending on the unit or department assigned.
