Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking an experienced inpatient RN to assess patient health, develop and implement care plans, and maintain detailed records. You will administer nursing care, monitor for adverse reactions, and provide health maintenance advice to patients.

This full-time, day-shift role offers a 0.90 FTE, 7:00 am–7:00 pm schedule, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, along with Penn State Health's comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of employment or hold a multistate license.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
• ACLS certification required prior to end of orientation.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The RN inpatient Nurse assesses patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. The inpatient Registered Nurse administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. The RN may advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. The inpatient RN will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records and administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects. The RN will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
• BLS required prior to orientation completion.
• Obtain AHA ACLS certification prior to end of orientation period.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
