Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join the team at Cross City Correctional Institution in Cross City, FL. The CNA will work under nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals while maintaining patient hygiene and daily living tasks.

The role requires a Florida CNA license (or ability to obtain), CPR certification, and a willingness to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR.
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen & background check).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
• Provide direct patient care under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
