Job summary

Liberty Commons of Lee County in Sanford, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care. You will help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and all daily activities, while maintaining dignity and comfort.

You will also assist with oral hygiene, denture care, and complete care records at the end of shift. Applicants must be 18+, be a valid CNA listed in the DFS registry, and be willing to participate in in-service training.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified nursing assistant listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric residents and assist with ADLs.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

Job Description:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADL’s as needed during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Job Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant, listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
