Qualifications A high school diploma or GED (a caring heart is a major plus!).
Prior CNA experience is a benefit, but we’re happy to train the right candidate with a willingness to learn and grow!
CPR and First Aid certification (we can help you get certified if needed).
A compassionate and patient spirit with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (may vary by position).

Responsibilities Providing personalized care with daily living activities (ADLs) to ensure dignity and respect, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Partnering with clients to manage medications, offering timely reminders and assisting as needed.
Fueling vitality by preparing nutritious and delicious meals, catering to individual preferences and ensuring all dietary needs are met, with assistance provided during feeding when required.
Maintaining a warm and inviting environment through light housekeeping tasks like laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
Fostering meaningful connections by engaging clients in conversations, participating in activities that spark joy, and promoting a positive and enriching quality of life.
Serving as a trusted companion by accompanying clients to appointments and social outings, ensuring their safety and well-being in all settings.
Keeping a watchful eye on client health, reporting any changes in behavior or vital signs to the care team for a proactive approach.
Upholding the highest standards of care by adhering to all state regulations and New Century Home Care policies.
