Job summary

The White Bear Lake Area School District seeks an instructor to teach a Certified Nursing Assistant course at their CNA lab within White Bear Lake High School for the 2025‑2026 school year. The teacher will provide on‑site instruction using an MDH‑approved curriculum, focusing on entry‑level caregiving and foundational skills.

Approximate daily hours December‑March 7:30 AM‑1:00 PM, March‑June 7:30 AM‑11:00 AM. Optional Health Care Professionals (HOSA) advisor stipend possible.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
• Must have at least two years of experience working as an RN in the United States; one of which must be at a long‑term care facility.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Tier II Teaching License in the State of Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Teach CNA course to high school students using an MDH‑approved curriculum.
• Provide on‑site instruction in entry‑level caregiving and foundational skills.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to meet student needs at multiple levels.
• Work under the limited supervision of the Principal.

Work Week: 0.42 FTE (3 sections of CNA Trimester 2, and 2 sections of CNA Trimester 3)

Position Summary

The White Bear Lake School District is seeking an instructor to teach a Certified Nursing Assistant course at their state‑of‑the‑art CNA lab within White Bear Lake High School for the 2025‑2026 school year. The teacher will provide on‑site instruction in the areas of entry‑level caregiving for the Certified Nursing Assistant courses by implementing an MDH‑approved curriculum. Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services, a specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal.

Approximate Daily Hours: December - March (7:30 AM - 1:00 PM), March - June (7:30 AM - 11:00 AM)

Education And /or Experience
