Job summary

Providence Health and Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NAC) for 0.5 to 1.0 FTE at St. Luke's Rehab in Spokane. A $5,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible candidates who meet all payment conditions, in addition to a strong benefits package.

The role reports to a Registered Nurse and supports patients of all ages with direct and indirect care. Required are Washington CNA licensure, BLS from American Heart Association, and at least 3 years of CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License required on hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required on hire.
• 3 years of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Provide direct and indirect assistance to patients of all ages.
• Facilitate communication of patient needs to nursing staff.

Under the general direction of a Registered Nurse, the NAC performs basic nursing procedures in providing direct and indirect assistance to patients of all ages and facilitates communication of patient needs to registered nursing personnel. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.

Pay Range

$18.83 - $28.80. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
