We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant Inpatient Rehab for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. If you believe patient care is as meaningful as we do, we want you to apply!

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Patient Care Technician (PCT/CNA) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the PCT assists in providing patient care according to the PCT’s skills/training and the department’s needs, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment. The PCT complies with hospital policies and State Board of Nursing rules for unlicensed personnel.

What you will do in this role:
  • Participate in implementing nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
  • Obtain and record patient information, including vital signs, intake/output, and other data as per policy.
  • Assist with mobility: turning, positioning, ambulating patients, and transfers. Demonstrate proper body mechanics.
  • Collect specimens for diagnostic tests, ensuring accuracy and timely transfer.
  • Assist with activities of daily living: eating, bathing, grooming, and elimination. Change bed linens as needed.
  • Serve as Monitor/Telemetry Tech as needed.
  • Engage in evidence-based practices to enhance patient experience, including safety rounding, communication, Teach-Back, Narrating Care, etc.
Qualifications needed:
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or CNA certification obtained within 15 days of employment start date
