Job summary

Novant Health's High Risk Antepartum unit is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts (7pm–7am) at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. You will support patient care under supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the care team to ensure comfort and safety.

A compassionate mindset and teamwork are valued. Education and credentials are essential: HS diploma or GED, completion of NAI program, NC NA I registry, and medication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience preferred; one year in assisted living/long-term care required.
• Completion of NAI program required; listed as NA I in nurse aide registry.
• Medication Safety - AME required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire.

What You'll Do

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience:
  • One year preferred.
  • One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Completion of NAI program, required.
  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
  • Medication Safety - AME, required.
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
