Job Details

• Position: Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Location: Rochester, MN and surrounding areas
• Pay: $20-23/hour
• Schedule: No nights or weekends
• Benefits: Employer pays 90% of medical coverage, clinician-friendly EMR, tuition discounts through Rasmussen University

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors and patients at home
• Assist with daily activities: bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, nutritional intake
• Support ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, monitor intake/output, blood glucose, document changes
• Coordinate with hospice nurses and aides to follow care plans
• Observe and report patient issues

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Minnesota
• CPR certification
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license, auto insurance, transportation
• Compassionate, good communicator, able to lift 50 lbs
