MSA Hospice, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., currently seeks a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hospice Aide for our Hospice patients in Butler, PA.

The CNA works under the general direction of the Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager to provide personal care services aimed at maximizing the comfort and health of patients and their families. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

1. Providing personal care services such as reading and recording temperature, pulse, and respiration; maintaining a clean and safe environment; assisting with bodily and oral hygiene.
2. Applying safety principles and proper body mechanics when assisting with client mobility.
3. Preparing and providing adequate nutrition and fluid intake.
4. Observing, reporting, and documenting changes in client status, understanding basic body functions, and reporting any changes.
5. Recognizing emergency situations and implementing appropriate emergency procedures.

Job Requirements:

1. Successful completion of an accredited/certified registered nursing program.
2. Minimum of one year experience in direct patient care.
3. Hospice nursing experience is strongly preferred.
4. Valid license in the state of VA.
