Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Medi Home Hospice, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hospice Aide for our Hospice patients in Charlottesville (within a 50-mile radius), VA.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the CNA works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager to provide personal care services aimed at maximizing patient comfort and health. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing personal care services such as monitoring temperature, pulse, and respiration, maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with hygiene, etc.
• Applying safety principles and proper body mechanics during patient mobility.
• Preparing and providing adequate nutrition and fluid intake.
• Observing, reporting, and documenting changes in patient condition, understanding basic body functions, and reporting any changes.
• Recognizing emergency situations and implementing appropriate procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Certified as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide in Virginia.
• At least one year of experience as an aide.
• Home Health and/or Hospice experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
