At Safe Hands Hospice & Home Health Care, our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play an essential role in delivering compassionate care and emotional support to patients receiving end-of-life care or recovering from illness and surgery at home. As part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you’ll make a meaningful difference—one visit, one patient, and one comforting word at a time.

Competitive compensation and benefits
Salary for full time: $37,000 – $38,400 annually (depending on experience)
Per Visit compensation $25 - $30.
Company-provided vehicle for work-related travel
Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting for hospice and home health care patients in their homes or facilities
Offer emotional support to patients and their families during end-of-life or recovery care
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Document daily care activities accurately and timely
Communicate changes in patient condition to supervising nurse
Support the team in maintaining a calm, comforting, and dignified environment
Active CNA certification in the state of Michigan
Previous experience in hospice or home health care preferred, but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
Willingness to travel within Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties
