As a part of the Telecare Family, La Paz is a 148 bed Gero-Psychiatric center which serves adults 55 and older.

Shifts Available:

• (2) Full Time; PM 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm; Days vary as needed
• (2) Full Time NOC Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:30 AM

Expected starting wage range is $21.49 - $26.25 hourly. We pay differentials! Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff: 5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift.

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides care in Skilled Nursing Facilities that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served and is consistent with recovery-centered care principles.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification
• Ability to communicate in English both verbal and written
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be CPR, CPI, and First Aid certified on or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification
• All opportunities are contingent upon successful completion of physical exams, background checks, and license verifications. Valid driver license and auto insurance are required if driving.

Preferred:

• Experience with the population served or similar settings
• Bi-lingual for threshold languages

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate Telecare's mission and values in interactions

• Ensure safety through monitoring and documentation
• Support and participate in community meetings and therapy groups
• Implement care plans and contribute to a recovery environment
• Collect specimens, obtain vital signs and weights
• Practice safety precautions and participate in team meetings
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to CPI principles
• Observe and report behavioral changes
• Assist with restraint procedures if necessary

Physical Demands

Must meet physical requirements such as sitting, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, walking, standing, and exposure to hazards. Visual and manual dexterity are required.
