Lutheran Senior Services in Weldon Spring, MO is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide daily supportive care to residents in a compassionate setting. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on the resident as the director of their own care.

You will assist with activities of daily living, support mealtimes, document care, and contribute to person-centered care plans under licensed staff guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with residents.
• Prior experience with direct patient care is preferable.
• Desire to be part of a person-centered care team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides ADL care per scope of practice.
• Responds to call lights and resident requests; reports observations to nurse.
• Supports residents’ personal care needs and dignity; promotes independence.
• Observes changes in residents and communicates with the nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives.
• Assists with mealtimes and feeds residents needing full assistance.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Assists with activities and resident involvement in daily decisions.
• Supports therapies and treatments under licensed staff guidance.
• Documents care provided in clinical records.
