Job summary

Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist licensed nurses in delivering patient care in assigned areas. You will help patients with daily living activities, provide personal care and emotional support, and perform basic clinical skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification is required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of course for nursing assistants.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualification

• Minimum six months experience

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills required.
• Knowledge of reimbursement systems preferred.
