Job summary

Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support licensed nurses in providing patient care in assigned units. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide personal care, and offer emotional support while performing more complex clinical skills under supervision.

Minimum qualifications include completing a nursing assistant course and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (online certification not accepted).

Qualifications

• Completion of nursing assistant course.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC; online cert not accepted.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of reimbursement systems preferred.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of course for nursing assistants.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certificationis not acceptable.
