Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center in the Tri-Cities, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Resource Team/Float Pool on a part-time basis (24 hours weekly) with a variable shift. The CNA will support professional nursing staff and provide patient care across various units. Required at hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification and American Heart Association BLS.

Preferred: completion of a formal CNA program and 1 year of patient care experience. Base pay range is posted.

Qualifications

  • WA Nursing Assistant Certification License required at hire.
  • BLS from American Heart Association required at hire.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed nurses with patient care in assigned area.
  • Support float pool/resource team with patient needs and transfers.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by Unit Manager or designee.

Certified Nursing Assistant – Resource Team / Float Pool at Kadlec Regional Medical Center

Under the direction of the Unit Manager or designee, the Certified Nursing Assistant performs a variety of tasks to assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in an assigned area; performs related duties as assigned.

Shift Details:

Part-time, 24 hours weekly, Variable shift.

Required Qualifications:
  • Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of a formal Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • 1 year of experience in a patient care setting.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
