Shift: 3 (1900-0730, three 12-hour shifts/week, every third weekend, two holidays/year)
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides age-appropriate care in a culturally sensitive manner. The CNA assists with tasks related to basic nursing skills, personal care, and basic restorative services, as outlined in their clinical competency assessment. They perform skills learned during CNA training or basic nursing courses. The CNA may also provide continuous safety observation. This role reports to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and the RNs on duty each shift. Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification or be enrolled in a nursing program with documentation of successful completion of a basic nursing course, including at least one acute care medical/surgical clinical rotation. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
