Waverly Heights is seeking a weekend Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in Gladwyne, PA. Part-time position involves 24 hours per week, including every other weekend. A Pennsylvania CNA certification is required.

• Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• Ideal candidate has exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist residents with walking, transferring, positioning, and mobility maintenance.
• Help residents at meals with eating and drinking according to dietary needs.
• Regularly measure and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respiration) and report concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and changes in condition.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and promote social engagement.
• Ensure a safe environment by following infection control protocols and addressing hazards.
• Interact with resident families and address concerns promptly.
• Pursue ongoing training and certification updates to improve care quality.
• Advocate for residents to ensure needs are communicated to the care team.

Waverly Heights is currently seeking weekend Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Waverly's CNAs play a pivotal role in the compassionate care and well‑being of our residents. Our CNA's daily responsibilities include:

• helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote hygiene and comfort
• assisting residents with walking, transferring, and positioning and help maintain mobility and independence
• assisting residents at meals with eating and drinking ensuring they are following their dietary requirements
• regularly measuring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration and promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing team
• maintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident's care, observations, and changes in condition
• providing emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and a sense of belonging
• ensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas free from hazards and following infection control protocols
• positively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concerns
• continuing to learn and improve knowledge and skills by staying updated with training and certifications
• advocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care team
• following all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA
• performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare department

Our part‑time CNAs are scheduled for 24 hours per week which includes working every other weekend. Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
