We Are Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant, Day Surgery- WMH- 1.0 FTE

Schedule: Day Surgery nursing assistant position with daytime hours between 9:00am-7:30pm. Will cross train to PACU for occasional shifts in that department. On-call requirement for PACU only 1 weekend every 2 months.

Pay: From $18/hour

The Day Surgery Unit is a 24-bed Outpatient/Ambulatory Surgery unit. Staff provide pre and post-operative/procedural care to Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and select populations of Radiology patients receiving anesthesia services. An average of 30 patients per day begin in day surgery, with the majority discharged the same day and some admitted to critical or inpatient units.

What You Will Do:

We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to support staff and patients on the unit. Qualified candidates will work independently, providing resource information and general nursing care to patients. Responsibilities include completing clerical tasks related to regulatory requirements, audits, and patient processes.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
• Strong interest in customer service, able to multitask, work independently with minimal supervision
