Job summary

Trenton Gardens Rehabilitation is seeking enthusiastic and energetic CNAs to join our dedicated nursing staff. CNAs provide direct nursing care under supervision, and are expected to help with resident hygiene, feeding, transfers, and daily care across all shifts.

We require current NJ CNA certification; prior long-term care experience is a plus. EOE. Background checks and vaccine requirements apply.

• Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.

We are paying a $1,500 (full time) and $500.00 (part-time) sign on bonus for this position (payable upon successful completion of 90 day probation period).
