Job summary

Pivotal Health Care seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Kennybrook Village in Grimes, IA. The CNA will provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home setting to support their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, completing care documentation, and following safety policies. Training and competency exams are required for the CNA role.

Qualifications

• CNA must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follows and upholds the community’s philosophy to maintain and improve residents’ quality of care and life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plans.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Follows safety policies to assure resident safety.
• Attends facility meetings and in-service training as assigned.
• Observes residents’ rights including privacy and dignity.
