Job summary

Crmcmed is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Nursing Department. Under the supervision of LPN/RN, you will perform routine patient care tasks, document care provided, and support daily operations in an acute care setting.

Candidates must have a nursing assistant certification or be actively enrolled, with high school diploma or equivalent. BLS is preferred or required on hire; hospital experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospital experience or NA certification, or enrolled nursing student.
• Knowledge of basic nursing techniques, aseptic practices, and cardiopulmonary techniques desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs accurately.
• Performs treatments and procedures appropriately.
• Maintains clean work environment and equipment.
• Maintains unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Provides patient care activities (bathing, oral hygiene, etc.).
