Job summary

Apploi in Visalia, CA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision. You will carry out assigned nursing tasks, monitor residents, and ensure comfort and safety with dignity and respect.

The position requires current CNA licensure or enrollment, excellent communication in English, and a calm, patient demeanor to work with ill and elderly residents within a team-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA or be enrolled in a CNA program.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Demonstrates emotional stability and good health.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at start of shift and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Make beds and maintain clean bedside areas.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and within reach.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.
• Join a team-oriented staff and contribute to high-quality resident care.
