Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a certified nursing assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned in accordance with facility policies, nursing care procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify resident identification before administering care or serving food to ensure correct resident is cared for.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within resident reach.
• Assist with other related duties as directed by the Charge Nurse or Administrator.
