Job summary

Shore Acres Care Center is hiring CNAs to join a refreshed facility focused on compassionate care and resident well-being. You will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, support meals, monitor vitals, and work closely with a nursing team to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA program.
• Active CNA certification (state-required).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication skills with compassionate bedside manner.
• Team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility).
• Deliver meals and assist residents with dining needs.
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately.
• Offer comfort measures such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Support nurses and interdisciplinary team members.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and families.
• Respond calmly and confidently in fast-paced or critical situations.
