Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role focuses on delivering compassionate resident care in a luxury rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, medical record documentation, and ensuring resident safety. The position requires a FL CNA license and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA license in FL.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, etc…).
• Assist residents with dental care, nail care, hair care, etc…
• Assure residents are kept dry to avoid breakdown. Bed bound residents need turned and positioned every couple hours.
• Obtain resident’s current weight when instructed.
• Serve food trays to residents and documenting food/fluid intake and output in resident’s medical record.
• Inventory and mark all residents possessions
• Make resident’s beds and keep room neat and tidy.
• Maintain confidentiality with resident information.
• Assure resident privacy at all times.
