Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its compassionate care team. The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, documenting care, and maintaining dignity and privacy.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida CNA license, demonstrates excellent customer service, and can work independently or in a team. Prior long‑term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA License in FL.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior experience in long term care preferred.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, etc…).
• Assist residents with dental care, nail care, hair care, etc…
• Assure residents are kept dry to avoid breakdown. Bed bound residents need turned and positioned every couple hours.
• Obtain resident’s current weight when instructed.
• Serve food trays to residents and documenting food/fluid intake and output in resident’s medical record.
• Inventory and mark all residents possessions
• Make resident’s beds and keep room neat and tidy.
• Maintain confidentiality with resident information.
