Job summary

Amsterdam Nursing Home in New York City is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to work on weekends. You will support residents with daily living activities and coordinate with supervising nurses to ensure safety and comfort.

Requirements include completion of a CNA program, current CNA state certification, and good standing with the state registry. Daily pay through a trusted provider is offered at this location.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.

• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents.
• Reporting health issues to supervising nurse.
• Personal hygiene assistance including bed baths and shaving.
• Setting up meal trays and documenting intake.
• Feeding Residents and providing nutritional supplements.
• Making beds and keeping spaces tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all data.

DUTIES

• Observing Residents

• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.

• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake

• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements

• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy

• Transporting Residents within the Facility

• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores

• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work as a team member

• Successful completion of a CNA program

• Current CNA State Certification

• Must be in good standing with State Registry
