Job summary

Gold Crest Care Center in the Bronx is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our weekend shift team. The role involves direct patient interaction, providing comfort, assisting with daily living activities, and transporting residents as needed.

You will monitor vital signs, assist with hygiene and meals, and support nursing staff to maintain a high standard of resident care within our CMS-rated 5-star facility. Prior CNA experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including meals, turning, ambulation, and hydration.
• Help with personal hygiene tasks and provide bedpans, baths, shampoos, and showers as needed.
• Provide adjunct care such as cold packs, dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check and record vitals and document daily information in resident charts.
• Assist nurses and other staff with patient care and mobility support.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including Joint Commission guidelines.

Gold Crest Care Center, located in the Pelham Gardens area of the Bronx is actively seeking CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to work Weekends, all shifts, for our Skilled Nursing Facility (Nursing and Rehab Center).

We are looking for a skilled CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The CNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
• Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers
• Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient’s chart
• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standards
