Job description

Join to apply for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Various Units, (Virtual Interview June 5th) role at Seattle Children's.

Seattle Children's Hospital is hosting an interview day/hiring event specifically for Certified Nursing Assistants on June 5th, 2025.

To be considered, you must be available to interview on this date and able to start employment by late June or early July 2025. If you cannot meet these dates, we encourage you to apply later, as applications are typically open in the first or second week of each month for about two to three weeks.

We currently have various CNA openings across hospital departments, including:

  • Acute Care Units
  • Critical Care Units

Shifts available include 12-hour day and night shifts, with part-time options:

  • 0.6 FTE - 48 hours per pay period
  • 0.75 FTE - 60 hours per pay period
  • 0.9 FTE - 72 hours per pay period

Positions may require working occasional weekends. To apply, submit an online application with:

Our hiring process involves application review, candidate selection for interviews, and timely responses. Only those selected will be contacted for an interview, which must be confirmed within 48 hours.

Note: All new CNAs must hold an active NAC License to start. If not selected, you are welcome to reapply for future events.

The CNA role involves providing patient care under supervision, utilizing your knowledge and skills to interact effectively with staff, patients, and families across all ages.

Minimum Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Credentials: Current Washington State NAC certification and BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred: 2+ years pediatric healthcare experience.

Compensation: $21.10 - $31.66 per hour, based on full-time employment (2080 hours/year). Offers depend on skills, experience, and other factors.
