Job summary

Hale Ho Aloha Nursing home is seeking dedicated CNAs to provide compassionate resident care on multiple shifts. The role supports rehabilitation and restorative services under RN/LPN supervision, following established care plans for Hawai‘i's kupuna.

New grads are welcome, with training offered. Open full-time daylight, evening, and night shifts; parking is available for evening and night shifts. Up to $500 sign-on bonus is offered to new hires.

Qualifications

• Must have current State of Hawaii Certification as a Nurse's Aide.
• First Aid & CPR Certification.
• Background in nursing assistance or related experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow care plans and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/LPN in rehabilitation and restorative nursing tasks as delegated.
• Carry out established care plan interventions during resident care.
• Support residents in activities of daily living under supervision.
• Document care in residents' medical records accurately and timely.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the resident care area.

Summary of Position

Hale Ho Aloha Nursing home is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill open Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions on various shifts. This position is responsible for resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of nursing practices as delineated by Hale Ho Aloha, including rehabilitation and restorative nursing and therapeutic services.

Essential Duties

• Assist the RN and/or the LPN in the provision of rehabilitation and restorative nursing services through the performance of tasks as delegated by and under the supervision of the RN and LPN.
• Integrate established care plan interventions while performing residents’ care.
• Perform basic nursing services to assist the residents in practicing and maintaining activities of daily living skills as delegated and supervised by the RN and LPN.
• Perform selected treatments and procedures as directed or delegated by the RN and LPN.
• Complete documentation requirement in the residents’ medical records

Requirements

• Current State of Hawaii Certification as a Nurse's Aide
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Physical Exam (within 1 year)
• 2 Step TB, followed by 1 Step TB (within 1 year)
• 2 References Required
• Good written, verbal, non-verbal, and active listening communication skills
