Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Labor & Delivery Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine technical tasks such as vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Adapting care to the needs of specific patient populations.
• Participating in educational programs, meetings, and professional initiatives.
• Following care plans established by RNs and ensuring a culture of safety.

Qualifications include:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a CNA or first-year Nursing School Program and passing the CNA exam.
• Maryland CNA license and active registration.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Strong communication, computer skills, and physical ability for lifting and bending.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

24 hours per pay period, with a pay range of $18.31 - $24.90.
