Important Notes

• Complete certification to be promoted to a full-time CNA with benefits.
• Must remain employed with Missouri Veterans Commission for at least 12 months post-certification.
• Training costs must be repaid if employment is left early.

Responsibilities

• Attend classes and floor assignments reliably.
• Provide direct care: taking vitals, assisting with hygiene, transfers, etc.
• Communicate effectively with Veterans.
• Document care in EMR.
• Assist with meals, dressing, grooming, and equipment handling.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
