Job summary

Koelsch Communities in Vancouver, WA is seeking skilled and resident-centered Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our Resident Services Department. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, paying between $21 and $22 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have the current CNA certification in Washington State.
• Drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.

Who You Are

You pride yourself in providing exceptional hospitality and personal aide. This role delivers in a safe and efficient manner the highest quality individualized assistance program to all residents.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Respond to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provide or obtain assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Washington State.
• NARs, EAs, RAs, and/or HCAs will need additional training and testing prior to working and earning the same rate as a CNA.
• Must have ability to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be drug‑free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
