Responsibilities

We are seeking a versatile and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with additional experience or training as a Telemetry Technician and Unit Clerk to join our healthcare team. This hybrid role is crucial to supporting both direct patient care and clinical operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. You will assist patients with daily care needs, monitor cardiac telemetry, and perform clerical tasks to ensure seamless communication and coordination on the unit.

Responsibilities:

CNA Duties:

  • Provide high-quality basic care to patients including hygiene, mobility, feeding, and comfort measures.
  • Assist nursing staff with patient monitoring and support.
  • Maintain patient safety and report any concerns promptly.

Telemetry Tech Duties:

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
  • Recognize and report abnormal heart rhythms to nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate rhythm documentation and equipment upkeep.

Unit Clerk Duties:

  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and support communication between patients, staff, and providers.
  • Perform data entry, chart maintenance, and manage medical records.
  • Schedule tests and procedures and manage supply inventories.

Qualifications

  • Current CNA certification (state-specific).
  • Training or certification in basic EKG/telemetry monitoring (preferred or required depending on facility).
  • Previous experience as a unit clerk or strong clerical skills in a healthcare setting.
