Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Telemetry Department. The role provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintaining a safe environment under RN supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA certificate, current BLS, and knowledge of Medical Terminology, with a preference for at least six months in acute care settings. Daily shifts are available; pay starts around $23.16 per hour.

• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Responsibilities

The CNA in the Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

• Per Diem position, 1 year of licensure and acute care experience

Pay Transparency

St. Francis Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation rate for this role is $23.16.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
