Job summary

Golden Rose Care Center in Pasadena is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our SNF Unit. We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, a $600 sign-on bonus after 90 days (FT employees only), and support for training and development.

We welcome CNAs of all experience levels to contribute to our compassionate team. Shifts include AM, PM and NOC with a 4 on/2 off rotating schedule and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license is required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• English reading/writing/speaking ability is required.
• U.S. work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report promptly.

Golden Rose Care Center - Pasadena

Golden Rose Care Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated and compassionate team in the SNF Unit. We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, training support, and a $600 sign-on bonus after 90 days (Full Time Employees Only, must be in good standing - Attendance and Performance).

Pay and Bonuses

• $21-$25 per hour, based on CNA experience
• $600 sign-on bonus (Full Time Employees Only, must be in good standing - Attendance and Performance)

Shift Differentials

• +$1 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts

Available Shifts

Full Time Skilled Nursing FacilityUnit:

• AM: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• PM: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• NOC: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

*4 on 2 off rotating schedule

CNA Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Provide physical comfort, emotional support, and social interaction
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment
• Protect resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Perform rounds per protocol and as needed
• Complete required documentation and in-service training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Job Functions

• Respond to call lights promptly
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, and hygiene
• Make beds and change linens
• Assist with toileting and incontinent care
• Serve and assist with meals; record intake and output
• Weigh residents as requested
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and range of motion
• Use proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Follow universal precautions and safety rules

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• BLS certification (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Honest, dependable, and compassionate
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• U.S. work authorization
